Blueberry, world's most powerful sources of antioxidants

Hello, there fruit lovers. MBG Fruitshop would like to share with you guys about a “superfood” that we have in our store that is Blueberry.

Blueberries are sweet, nutritious and madly popular. Often labeled a “superfood,” they are low in calories and amazingly good for you. They are so yummy and convenient that many people consider them to be their much-loved fruit.

There are the two most common types of blueberry:
1st is the Highbush blueberries are the most commonly grown species in the US.
2nd us the Lowbush blueberries are often referred to as “wild” blueberries. They are typically smaller and richer in some antioxidants.

Blueberries are among the most nutrient solid berries. A 1 cup serving (148 grams) of blueberries contains (1):

Fiber: 4 grams.
Vitamin C: 24% of the RDA.
Vitamin K: 36% of the RDA.
Manganese: 25% of the RDA.
*RDA – Recommended Dietary Allowance.

Then it holds small amounts of various other nutrients.

They are also about 85% water, and an entire cup contains only 84 calories, with 15 grams of carbohydrates.

Calorie for calorie, this makes them an outstanding source of quite a lot of important nutrients.

Antioxidants are essential and blueberries are believed to contain the utmost antioxidant volume of all generally consumed fruits and vegetables.

They protect our bodies from damage by free radicals, unstable molecules that can damage cellular structures and contribute to aging and diseases like cancer.
