Hai fruity fans, this time we want to share our Pulut Mangga recipe. You may get creative and want’s top try a new recipe with our fresh fruits and we felt that way too. So today we would like to choose the Famous Lily Mango for our today’s recipe.
The Pulut Mangga or Sticky Rice Mango is the famous Thai dessert. Thai sticky rice with mango hits all the sweet, silky, creamy spots you want in a satisfying dessert. It's a nice, simple way to get your sweet fix.
The mango we choose Thailand Lily mango. So you have a great mix sweet and sour. But, if you prefer sweet mango, you may choose Falan or Harum Manis mango. That’s gonna make you really sweet though.
Now get ready for the Ingredients:
Sticky Rice
2 Cup-Sticky rice
1/2 cup -Coconut milk
1 1/2 Cup-water
Cream
½ cup –coconut milk
1 tbsp sugar
¼ tsp Salt
Cook about 10 minutes until boil
And of course 1 Lily Mango
Now let’s get started!
Rinse and drain rice, until the water clears. Soak rice for at least 1 hour. It is best to leave overnight if you want it to cook faster. Pour half cup of coconut milk to the rice, then 1 and a half cup of water and 1 pinch of salt. Stir evenly, then put 1 Pandan leaves. Place them in steamer covered and cook for 15 minutes. Check after minutes to see if the grains are tender. If not, cook longer and taste again. It should be chewy but not hard in the middle of the grain.
Meanwhile, combine coconut milk, sugar, water, and salt in a pot. Stir well and bring to a slight boil for 15 minutes. Remove cooked rice and place in a bowl.
Peel mango, slice around pit, and slice on a diagonal. Serve mango slices along rice and ladle additional sauce on rice and mangoes.
