South Africa Blush Pear

 

Info

    The skin has an intense speckled red blush over a pale green or pale-yellow background, and the shape is pyriform/straight to convex. The peel is smooth and quite thin, so it doesn’t need peeling before eating. The flesh is yellowish white, smooth and juicy, with only minor graininess. The pear can be eaten in a hard or soft condition depending on preference and has good sweetness and a very pleasant flavor.

      I didn't get the South Africa Celina Pear ordered as the shop informed me that the ones they have are not so fresh already and they offered me to replace them with other fruits. I salute the extra effort and replacement offered by MBG outlet! Keep it up! So I can't rate the pear, but I will give 5 star for effort...
